CHAPTER 25 Winner & Honorable Mentions

I apologize for the lateness of this post; personal issues prevented my posting the winner and my own project until now. Let's get to the news you all have been waiting for, but first. . . I need to show you my project!

I have just gotten into digital stamping, and this is my very first all-digital project! I digitally colored and paper-pieced Alice and the Cheshire Cat in Photoshop prior to bringing them into the My Digital Studio software, where I assembled this scene. See my blog for more details, and please leave a comment there!

Winner

Dawn at Craft Addiction won the $30 gift certificate for digital images from the fabulous, fantastical world of The Octopode Factory!

The talented Lily Chilvers started The Octopode Factory when she was only seventeen and they were an instant hit. Originally available only in digital form, they are now also available in rubber stamps, and she has a wealth of amazing Alice in Wonderland images. Be sure to check out these wacky images through the links above!

Look at the AMAZING Mad Hatter's Hat that Dawn of Craft Addiction submitted as our randomly selected winning project!  Be sure to visit her blog to check out how the hat looks on her dog! Dawn, congratulations and please email me through the link in the left column of the blog.

Honorable Mentions

We have a ton of projects from WendyLynn's Paper Whimsies, and this digital creation was my fave! Love the mushrooms and the grungy frame effect, very nice!

Jenn Borgeson of Stampin' Angel Jenn submitted this charming project; the sentiment made me laugh as it was clever and snarky!

I really enjoyed this postcard from Cathy at Altered Celtic Gypsy.

Monique of Pretty Dark Arts made a great domino book.

I really enjoyed the idea of daily  365 "mini journaling" on these little inchie squares in Kyla's art journal at L'il Pidge.

Sarah Nancarrow of Paper Tree made a great Alice tea party ensemble for her daughter's birthday. I can't share an image as her blog forces you to Pinterest.

Artwolf2009 made a charming boat for "T&T" and an even more charming story to go along; stop by her blog for the whole story!

Artwolf2009 also made this fabulous page; I adore everything about it, especially the sentiment.

Another project from WendyLynn's Paper Whimsies; I particularly loved the black & white images in front of the music with just the Octopode elements in full color, and the mix of traditional and whimsical styles.

Blackdragon submitted this two page spread. The right side with all the clock faces is my favorite part, love all the saturated colors.

Jeanette at Wilde World created a great tag, love it that the three cards tucked in are removable.

Love the layers in the background and the texture of the embossing powder on this one from DanisArt.

Octopode sighting: Neat teapot from DanisArt, love the bright yellow.

Octopode sighting: Another great teapot, this time from Sylvie at BarniesBaustelle.

Octopode sighting: Great layers of color on Stampboard from Mark Gould at Spesh Ink.

Octopode sighting: digital ATC from WendyLynn's Paper Whimsies.
